On Education and School

I do not like how in his slam poetry, the poet names several people who were successful without college. They are the exception, not the rule. In my view, school is a necessary evil. Would one trust an electrician who had no experience? Or a doctor who had no degree? I think not. While school can most often be a tightened noose, allowing students to choose classes can loosen it.

1. My intention for this course is to learn how to become a better writer in the hopes that my dream stories will someday be published.

2. Writing skills could offer me a potential job in things like journalism, writing as a job, resumes and other assorted jobs associated with it.
