Closing Comments

This class has been an interesting one and one that I believe has definitely improved my writing skills, or my grammar skills at the very least. In terms of personal growth I have found that there are people in this world who take things male sexual harassment and mental illness as a serious thing.

As for what I think could be improved upon in this class? I feel as though the part about writing stories could definitely be improved. I felt as though my imagination had not been stimulated enough, in part because the teacher may have given us a little too much freedom. Too many stories seemed to be set in the modern day, not that there's anything wrong with that. But I must ask, where are the tales of knights who sally forth to fight the hordes at their gate? The fables of great Naval starships having to fight a pirate fleet? In addition I felt as though we talked too little about characters. Where is the development? Talking about characters, plot and story felt a bit too shallow for my taste.

Still, this has been a wonderful course with a wonderful teacher to support me. Thank you Mrs. Reidel.
